Emunah is one of the primary social welfare organisations in Israel and in 2008 was awarded the prestigious 'Israel Prize' for lifetime achievement and exceptional contribution to the nation.

Emunah Canada is part of World Emunah which has 180,000 members in 30 countries. Emunah's supporters are women and men, children, teenagers, seniors and students. Every age and all walks of life.

From its inception in the 1930's Emunah 's goals have been the advancement of education and social welfare in Israel and providing care for deprived and vulnerable children. Today, Emunah helps thousands of children, families and Seniors in Israel on a daily basis. This is done through it's network of residential homes, high schools, day care centres, senior centres and therapy and counselling centres.
