Emergency Campaign

Israel Needs Our Support!
The situation in Israel is critical, and Emunah's Emergency Campaign is stepping up to provide urgent assistance to children, families, and staff impacted by the ongoing conflict.

Northern Israel in Crisis

For the past 10 months, Israel has faced relentless bombardment, with the South initially bearing the brunt of the attacks. However, the focus has now shifted, and Northern Israel is truly suffering. Towns are under constant rocket fire, leaving streets deserted and homes severely damaged. Fires frequently break out, and families live under the daily threat of attack. The emotional toll on children and families is immense, but you can help make a difference.

Two Critical Campaigns

Emunah Canada has launched two emergency campaigns to provide immediate support:

1) Gift Cards for Families in Need

Emunah aims to provide 300 families and individuals in Northern Israel with 600 Shekel gift cards, offering relief for daily essentials such as food, clothing, and basic necessities. Many families are displaced, struggling to meet even the most basic needs. With your support, they can access not only necessities but also small comforts, like an occasional treat for their children, bringing a touch of normalcy to their lives.

2) Comfort for Children and Caregivers Affected by Rocket Fire

As children at Emunah’s daycare centres in Kiryat Shmuel were preparing for their nap, rocket fragments fell nearby. Staff members rushed to protect the children, comforting them in a shelter while explosions and sirens echoed around them. Although everyone is physically safe, the emotional scars run deep.

We want to bring comfort to these children and express our heartfelt gratitude to the staff who risk their safety to care for them. Our goal is to provide each of the 150 children with a toy and give the 36 dedicated staff members a box of chocolates to show our appreciation

Stories of Resilience

  • Ruti, 44, a caregiver at the Emunah daycare in Nahariya, continues to work despite reduced hours and the danger, saying, "The children need me." Her husband and son have been out of work for seven months, and Ruti struggles to support her family.

  • Dimitri, 20, a graduate of the Emunah Children’s Home, was traumatized after a rocket landed near him. He grew up in an abusive home and now suffers from PTSD, adding to his already heavy emotional burden.
